Day 20 – Jacksonville, FL

Today’s gig is at the Moran Theatre.  Capacity: 3,000.

It’s a beautiful room:

Some crazy spinal art hanging in the lobby:

The venue is right on the waterfront.

The loading docks here are like none I’ve ever seen before.  When I think loading dock, I think grimy, dirty, beat up, etc.  But these loading docks are glass!

  1. Hey Robert, thanks again for the blog. It is SO enjoyable. The lobby sculpture you photographed for this post is called Lyrical Light and was designed and created by the students and faculty at Jacksonville University.

  2. Aside from LOVIN’!! your photos and write ups, I appreciate the fact that you’re willing to hike all the way up to the very last row to show us the view(s) from there. You’ll certainly be in great shape, by the time this tour ends!

  3. Haha! Yeah, I’m definitely staying in shape from walking all the stairs every day! Thanks for noticing :)

  4. wow what a venue, nice photo of the water, the acoustics must have been very nice great tour tnxs
